Lindsay Davenport is one of only a few women to have been World Number 1 at least four times since 1975. She won the US open, Wimbledon and Australian Open in consecutive seasons between 1998 to 2000, and at 6 ft 2 in, she is one of the tallest woman to have won a Grand Slam singles title.

Because of her size, Davenport is not the quickest around court, but she more than makes up for this with awesome power in her serve and a devastating service return. Both of these assets are considered to be amongst the strongest ever to have graced women’s tennis, so Davenport is still a major force to be reckoned with.
